CamJam Cord Tightener

rated 4 of 5 stars This item is ideal for the person who travels light and needs to make camp and break camp quickly. A must have if you use a tarp for shelter as opposed to a tent. I have used Nite Ize Cam Jams a lot in the past two years. They have become my favorite way to fasten my tarp shelters securely and quickly. They allow me to quickly break down camp and pack up, rather than sitting around fighting a knot when I need to move on in a hurry. I really like how they are compatible with 550 paracord and how… Full review

S-Biner MicroLock

rated 4 of 5 stars A locking mini S-biner that can secure items while providing a quick-release option. Great for adding a tool to your keychain or a lightweight light to a zipper pull. Well-made stainless steel construction with a clever design that will please those in search of a secure but easily releasable attachment device. Sometimes it's the little things in life that make the difference. This is the case with Night Ize's S-Biner MicroLock, a small item accurately identified by its name. I've used a range… Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars One of the best backpack / keychain accessories available. The flexibility and practical nature of the S-Biner allows for countless applications. Usage ranges from securing keys to a belt loop to hanging a lantern or water bottle from my pack. Usage: The S-Biner is a straightforward piece of gear. The dual hook nature allows a user to latch objects to other objects. The spring clip makes this task super easy, and keeps the attached item secure.  Features:  Due to the simplicity of the S-biner,… Full review

Figure 9 Carabiner

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The folks at Nite Ize know you're not a Boy Scout, and you're not a sailor. But sometimes you need to secure a rope to a fixed object, or a rope to another rope. Their elegant solution is the Figure 9. I'm not a salty sailor who's ridden the high seas for decades. I'm also not a Boy Scout with a sash full of knot tying merit badges. I'm just a guy who sometimes abandons my otherwise perfectly usable home for a day or three and sleeps outside in a hammock. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person… Full review

Inova STS

rated 4 of 5 stars The Inova STS is a feature-rich, uber-bright headlamp that takes a decent stab at innovating the classical on/off switch. With the popularity of gesture-driven devices, it follows that a company would produce a swipe/touch activated interface in a headlamp. For the most part, I found this interface to be intuitive and reliable, though I definitely encountered some trying times in humid conditions. For use in damp situations, such as in caves or on the water, I might recommend this as a pass. Otherwise,… Full review
