User Review: NRS Men's Descent Water Shoe

Rating: rated 2.5 of 5 stars
Materials: Neoprene, Hypergrip soles
Price Paid: $65

As a river guide on the Nolichuky, I needed a shoe that could grip wet rocks in and out of the river. These don't do it at all. You might as well wear cheap tennis shoes from Wal-Mart than shell $60-$90 for a pair of these.

On a positive note, they are great trail shoes and do shed water fairly well. But if you're going to spend a lot of time in and around wet rocks then make sure your health insurance is paid up. You will break your neck if you trust the grip of these shoes. Felt soles are the way to go.
