Manufacturer's Description

The Dash's sock-like bootie design, which keeps out debris, is combined with arch-lasted construction for a supportive fit. Lacing is asymmetrical with offset eyelets that help to reinforce the support.

Out of the box, the Dash has a cushioned feel, due to the extra layer of soft EVA that runs the length of the shoe atop the Stroebel board and under the insole.

Premium insole is a high-quality, triple-density design with enhanced arch support and additional padding under the calcaneus and metatarsal bones.

The Dash puts a priority on surefooted traction, with deep lugs that help put on the brakes on descents and give excellent hold on smooth rock. Oboz's high-friction carbon rubber outsole balances durability and friction.

Uppers are constructed out of highly breathable nylon mesh and feature synthetic leather and thermoplastic urethane overlays to deliver support and structure. Floating forefoot cages lock feet in securely while running on rugged terrain; large heel and tongue loops aid entry and exit. Nylon mesh linings wick moisture, dry quickly and further enhance breathability. Anatomic EVA footbeds and dual-density EVA midsoles provide cushioning over long trail runs; EVA plates protect against stone bruising and provide additional support. Nylon shanks offer torsional stability and protection underfoot, increase surefootedness on varied terrain. Molded thermoplastic urethane stability clips at heels deliver stability through upon foot strike. Aggressively lugged outsoles utilize a durable, nonmarking rubber for exceptional grip.
