I love my Ceres 50. It moulds to my back and there are no superfluous gadgets: the approach is minimalist. Of course, you must not be bothered by sweat accumulating between your super efficient fast wicking clothing and the pack, but then again, climbing is not having a drink with the boys at the club. I would rather feel a light and narrow pack nice and snug and flat on my back and thus make it quickly to the top. Although I have carried up to 30 kg (including the pack), I feel very comfortable carrying up and down the mountains weights of up to 20 kg for hours. It would be nice to be able to open the top pocket from the front and back but that would add two extra sets of fasteners and I am ready to skip this luxury. Overall, great pack for the climber that is looking for a light and perfect fitting pack.
