If you are looking for a straightforward climbing pack without all of the gadgetry, then this is your pack. It's great for all day climbing in Indian Creek, but also versatile for backpacking in backcountry Utah. Good capacity, double draw cords are great for compression, that shovel wings have countless uses(I keep my Frisbee in that feature). I only wish that the top pocket was roomier. Other than that, it's an awesome well designed pack for the climber/mountaineering in mind.
