This pack rocks. It is great for climbing, but I have used it for backpacking a little too. This pack has one nice big compartment that fits everything in it, plus the top pocket. The compression system is perfect when you are not using the full capacity of the pack. It is very comfortable as well, with the heat molded hipbelt. With this pack it is easy to strap on several ice tools, wands, etc. I recommend it.
