User Review: Osprey Manta 20

Rating: rated 4.5 of 5 stars

Summary

You can do with it whatever you want, as long as you want it to be light.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • As many features as a full size pack

Cons

  • Durability
  • Pricepoint

It is designed to be a hyper-light pack. It does its job perfectly. You can do with it whatever you want, as long as you want it to be light. I like it, plenty of room for everything you in ultralight summer backpacking, day hikes, or a rucksack to throw emergency gear on back country bike trips.

Thoughtful design that cuts out want you don't want for the sake of keeping what you do. Gear loop very good, COMES WITH A RAIN FLY, still has two hip belt pockets that zipper = great when you bomb over the handle bars. An extranious layer of fabric here, or a pointless loop that I would remove there. Overall you're always trading one thing for lightweight and that is durability.
