This backpack has been glued to my back for the last 6 months. The React has been to school, work, up the mountain, on the overhead compartment, along the Kalalau trail, Telluride...anywhere and everywhere I go.

The main compartment holds my Macbook with a sleeve with room to spare, suspended from the bottom of the bag, so when I set it down the laptop does not make first contact. With my laptop inside, I can fit two large textbooks easily, a slew of pens, 2 journal-size notebooks in each front side-zipping compartment, as well as my U-lock or a helmet on the outside buckle storage space.

My cell (blackberry) fits easily into the shoulder strap and the Huge side mesh pockets can carry a full bicycle-style bottle each no problem. My hats off to the folks at Osprey, they hit the nail on the head with this tough-as-nails daypack.
