This is one of the best things we got when we had a kid. Every outdoor family with a young child needs one. There is a plus model and a regular model. We have the regular one and as our LO gets bigger we probably will wish we had the plus since it is a bit bigger.

This tent packs into a small bundle and pops open easily—Think oval shaped sun visors you put in your windshield. It weighs about 2.5 pounds, but has been totally worth it to carry out to the crag. It's a little bulky and won't fit well in our pack, but we strap it on the outside and hit the trail.

It has a padded floor and fine mesh to keep bugs out and part of it has solid fabric to block sun. Sometimes we toss a shirt/jacket/light blanket over for added shade. Works great at the crag when naptime rolls around or for infants who need a shaded and safe place to play. But really it'll work well in camp for daytime naps/play by the lake for fishing, etc you get the idea.

Works great in a tent to help keep toddlers contained while they sleep! Our little one at 16 months is great at wiggling out of her sleeping bag while she sleeps. Putting her in the bag in the tent keeps her from falling out, getting cold, and waking up! It would also be suitable for sleeping indoors instead of traveling with a packnplay, this would totally fit in a suitcase with plenty of room to spare.

We've been using it since she was born 1-2 weekends a month and it has help up well. The bag is pretty cheap but it is still hanging in there too! Don't know what we would have done without this little gem. Outdoor stores need to start carrying this product and start looking out for the next generation of little adventurers!
