Mckinley Ascent

rated 4.0 of 5 stars

Lightweight and strong.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Quickly adjustable
  • Inexpensive

Cons

  • Straps loosen a bit

These poles were definitely not the most expensive but are plenty strong enough, very quickly adjusted, and one of the lightest sets of poles I could find at 230 grams. Grips are comfortable, straps are adjustable but do seem to slip a bit. This isn't a big deal. I may not have them locked in well enough.

Would like more colour selection. Mine are a copper colour, which is very nice but there were no choices that I could find.
