Summary
I like this sack!
Pros
- waterproof
- strong
- durable
Cons
- not ulra light
I think everything you need to know about this stuff sack is in its name, durable and waterproof. This sack is rugged enough that you feel comfortable enough just pushing and pushing stuff in.
The inside is coated with a polymer waterproofing (Hydroseal) and the seams are taped. We were able inflate this and use it like a balloon. I think next time we come across a mountain lake we will use it as a float which makes me feel that this is very waterproof.
A nice feature that I only found out about after I bought this is that Outdoor Research guarantee this for life. So if you do manage to overdo it you can get it replaced.
For the ultra-light crowd any stuff sack is heavier than no sack and this sack due to its waterproofing is a bit heavier than some.
