User Review: Outdoor Research Exos Pants

Don't leave home without it, that is, unless it's totally rainy or too hot. In my experiences with this pant it does not have a shortcoming. I wore them hiking in snow, lower 30s, 30mph winds with smartwool mid pants under them and I was talking about how comfortable I was the whole time. Never hot never cold. I was adding and shedding top layers the whole time but my legs were perfect. I have never gotten wet in them so far. Never been in a straight up storm, but in some moderate rain with no probs.
I wear them around town too and they are comfortable going from walking in cold rain to entering a heated store. They transition well to not make me overheat. Today it was 35ish and drizzling (?) when I went for a 3mile run wearing them, undies and a smartwool mid top. I was totally comfortable, never overheated and when I was walking back home they kept me warm even though I had been sweating in them. They shed the PNW rains perfectly. Can't wait to do more extensive hikes in them. My fav pant by far- and I like these so much, I ordered OR Tremor pants for colder weather.
I'm 6' 200lbs and got the larges. They fit perfectly everywhere, not too loose, or tight. Plus they stretch well so movement is great. The waist is like a 35 so they are a little too tight to put on my 100wt fleece pants under, but my SW mids are fine. I'm getting the Tremors in L and XL so I can have the option to add insulating layers under for skiing.
