I wasn't expecting much from this gift. I haven't had great luck with OR in the past. I was extremely surprised when I took a good look at it and tried it on. It fits great, the zipper goes all the way down my chest and keeps me cool on the uphills. The pocket isn't big enough to put too much in -- about the size of your hand, it's great for a small map or Ipod. The inner fleece is soft enough to wear as a baselayer but I usually keep it as a midlayer or light outerlayer. I live in the Appalachians and spend a lot of time in wet weather, and this pullover shrugs off light rain
