User Review: Ozark Trail Propane Lantern

Rating: rated 4.5 of 5 stars
Price Paid: $15

We were out for three weeks with mix of backpacking and some car camping. Not a lot of room in the car so space was at a premium. This little propane lantern worked especially well, easy light and as bright as my old gas Coleman with two mantles.

The only drawback was I went thru the two mantles that it came with it too quickly. I tried others with little success. This is not a mantle you'll likely find at campstores, most outdoor stores, or even at a Walmart where I bought it. The only mantle I found that fits is a Coleman mantle; #51 Slip-0n "Rosette", part#51A104. You'll find at:
coleman dot com/coleman/parts.

I'd give you link but some folks don't like that idea :o| It looks like there is Coleman globe that will fit too, but until I broke my original, you're on your own for the part number.
