"Designed to maintain its tautness in a variety of setups, this rain-shelter tarp can be erected by using a slack line in the middle, or by tying the corners off to trees, or by using trekking poles. Perfect for sleeping two. Just 1 pound 3 ounces. Erecting the shelter is quick using found or multiuse items. Use a trekking pole to prop up the front end or keep an edge from flapping in the wind. Pop the center up with a slack line between some trees. Collapse the shelter, roll it over on itself, and the shelter becomes waterproof protection for your gear. Made of ultralight 40-denier ripstop nylon with welded reinforcements and pullouts, as well as fully taped seams. The D3 and a head net make a perfect light combo for the A.T. or any fast, long haul.
