prAna Stretch Zion Convertible

rated 5 of 5 stars Perfect hiking pant. Probably my favorite piece of gear that I've owned for hiking. About as comfortable as a pair of pants get—lightweight, protection from wind and rain. They adjust at the waist with an easy pull when you're shedding weight on the trail. Stretch in all the right places. I own the convertible option, but a lot of times keep them as pants even in warmer environments because the breath-ability is outstanding. On the flip size, I've worn them in the winter for hikes or yard work… Full review

Beyond Clothing A9 Utility Pant

rated 2.5 of 5 stars Quality materials with a lot of features, but the design is just OK. The pants are also expensive (~$200), so not recommended for most people. As a member of another website I get products to test from time to time in exchange for a review. This time I got to test the Beyond Clothing A9-U - Utility Mission Pant. I'm not a military person, so I don't maybe have the background many of their target market has, but I do love to be outdoors, go backpacking, and hiking. These pants are made of a tough,… Full review

Columbia Saturday Trail II Convertible Pant

rated 5 of 5 stars True to size, stretchy yet durable, plus breathable with a flattering fit. Compounded with the affordable price, these pants are a steal! My go-to pants for all sorts of occasions. These pants are fantastic, doing everything you need them to from athletic to casual to dressy-casual occasions. The fit is like your favorite pair of slacks, with a wide, flattering waistband (lined with soft micro fleece for carefree wear under hipbelts) and contoured seams. They are remarkably lightweight and stretchy… Full review

Cabela's XPG Trail Pant

rated 5 of 5 stars i would totally recommend these pants to anyone!! They are the best for hiking and basically anything. These pants are very well made. They are so conformable. They are for women, but I am a man and these are great pants for either sex. They do not ride up like some hiking pants do and they are very mobile and versatile. I would recommend these to anyone. They do not look like women's pants if you buy the coyote color, so men I would definitely give these a try also. They don't make these in men's… Full review

Beyond Clothing Brokk Capri

rated 4.5 of 5 stars These pants are really great for hot weather hiking and camping where you want good coverage of your legs but still need breathability and airflow. The pants come to a couple inches below your knees and are made of a stretchy material that gives nice mobility when performing tasks around a campfire or climbing over some rocks. I would highly recommend checking out these pants for anyone who spends a significant amount of time outdoors in hot weather. Overall these pants are super comfortable and… Full review

Mountain Khakis Equatorial Pant

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The Mountain Khakis Equatorial Pant is made for the tropics, but is equally adept in the mountains. Insanely lightweight fabric, though tough as nails. My go-to pants. I wanted to post a review on these MK pants to encourage others to add them to their "must have" list. I actually won a Mountain Khakis gift certificate on another website to review gear, so I was able to choose whatever MK product within that certificate's price range. Living in the tropics, I decided to select clothing that I could… Full review

LightHeart Gear Rain Pants

rated 2.5 of 5 stars Great pants, limited sizing. Silicon coated nylon with polyurethane treatment waterproof to 2000mm of water head. Zippers on the legs for easy on and easy off. Not in the least breathable, but very waterproof. Not much to say, you put them on when it rains and you don't get as wet. The big downside is that they come in fixed sizes with an inseam of 31 inches for extra small, 32 for small, and 33 medium to XXX-large, making them very long for anyone under 5'9". You can order custom inseam, but… Full review

Craghoppers Classic Kiwi Pants

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Durable and comfortable general-purpose hiking trousers. Plenty of pockets, but could do with a second cargo pocket. Craghoppers Classic Kiwi pants. They come with a free belt, but the one in the photo is my own addition “Kiwi” is a favourite brand name of British company Craghoppers. The company’s current product lineup includes the Classic Kiwi, the Kiwi Pro, the Kiwi Trek and the Kiwi Explorer. And these are just trousers. There are still more Kiwis in the company’s range of shirts and… Full review

Magellan (Academy Sports) Arrowhead Pants

rated 5 of 5 stars Love these pants! Do lots of bending, squatting, and climbing. They stretch and give without binding. Just can't seem to find them ANYWHERE Love these pants! They are great for carpenters, painters, or anyone that does a lot of squatting, bending, or climbing. They stretch and move with you unlike other pants that seem to cut a man in half.... if you know what I mean. Full review
