Outdoor Research Men's Ferrosi Pants

rated 5 of 5 stars The Outdoor Research Ferrosi Pants are extremely comfortable. They are breathable, water-resistant, wind-resistant, and move with you during activity. I bought these pants (that are technically rock-climbing pants) in an attempt to get some super comfortable hiking pants that move with me and that were not baggy on my legs. These are not Outdoor Research (OR)'s most slim fitting pants but they are not "relaxed." I bought these at Rock Creek in Chattanooga, Tenn., by recommendation of one of their… Full review

Arc'teryx Men's Rampart Pant

rated 5 of 5 stars If I only had one pair pants for everything, this would be them. A few years back I bought a pair of these on sale. I wore them for all kinds of things... for hiking and for every day. When I lost forty pounds and lost two inches from my waist, they didn't fit anymore, so eBay helped me move them along. I've been wanting another pair of them, but at a hundred and ten bucks, I was waiting for a good sale. It has happened, and I have a new pair in the right size! Though marketed as a hiking and trekking… Full review

Patagonia Women's Alpine Guide Pants

rated 4 of 5 stars One the best winter pants I've every owned due to the almost magical fabric. I own lots of softshell pants, perhaps too many. The Patagonia Alpine Guide Pants are generally found on the top of my pants heap. The Polartec Powershield fabric is amazing. It is highly breathable and highly wind proof. The lightly brushed interior feels nice against my skin and the outside of the fabric remains surprisingly unblemished after a season of use. I find they are best used in temperatures below 40°F and I've… Full review

Outdoor Research Foray Pants

rated 4 of 5 stars Good durable lightweight pant. Easy to put on. I have had these pants for snowshoeing in the winter and as my rain pants in the summer. I must admit that I am hard on my gear. These have held up very well in keeping me dry in all conditions. The 3/4 zipper is great that you do not have to take off your boots to put on or take off these. Also they are very sturdy for being as lightweight as they are. Full review

Eddie Bauer Men's First Ascent Igniter Pants

rated 5 of 5 stars Love the pants. I purchased a pair of these pants last August. I use the pants for undergarments in scuba diving. Why? Because they use Primaloft as their insulation. If you believe the makers of Primaloft, it is as warm as down and maintains its insulator properties when wet. This is extremely import in scuba diving where heat transmission is 24 times greater in water than air, so if your suit floods this is critical. Why not just buy scuba undergarments? Because no scuba company makes a product… Full review

Outdoor Research Men's Cirque Pants

rated 5 of 5 stars Functional, comfortable, active, 3-season sports pant! Excels even under difficult alpine climbing conditions here in our cool/moist PNW climate. Some features hard to find in any pant, are in the design of Cirque. Can't find your size? Great news ... I had an alteration tailor altered my leg length and kept OR's amazing 'infinite' guarantee! CRIQUE? Pronounced: "sir-ka"; Meaning:  "A steep, amphitheatre-shaped hollow occurring at the upper end of a mountain valley, especially one forming the head… Full review

Sportsman's Guide Flannel Lined Cargo Pants

rated 4 of 5 stars Good insulation and brush protection at a fair price. If you're not hung up on buying the expensive brands, give these a try. Fit and finish are decent, and they perform as designed. I had my hesitation, with the low price and an off-brand, but the reviews I had seen were mostly very favorable. While these pants do run a little large, they fit well and seem to be made pretty well. I wore them a few times, and they're very comfortable and kept me warm in all but the coldest weather. Most importantly,… Full review

TAD Force 10 AC Cargo Pant

rated 5 of 5 stars Got these in tan over a year ago and they still look new! I can't stain them or find one issue with them and they dry super quick. I'd buy these over and over and have since they restocked. They roll up small and take up no space and hold no smells. The usable pocket space is amazing. I got these pants several years ago with the full intent to destroy them and things went very wrong! I ended up loving them! I cut thick wet grass with a weedeater, I slid in the grass, I hiked, swam, fished, dumped… Full review

L.L.Bean Men's Carrabassett Ski Pants

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Loaded with features, these ski pants double as my snowshoeing and ascent pants. They are warm enough for skiing by themselves and with a mid-weight insulating layer, they are great for alpine expedition trips. Love these pants for multi-purpose winter sports. With a good mid-weight insulating layer, they are quite food for multi-day hiking and camping, and reasonable for summitting snow alpine peaks in the Adirondacks. The price is right for these feature packed snowpants! Only thing I would like,… Full review
