Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Price Paid: $60

This is the best daypack I've ever owned. I bought it on sale for $60 but I would have paid double. It's the perfect size for all the gear you need on a day hike and never hurts my back. The front vertical zipper keeps trail maps and trail mix easily accessible.

Here's what other sites are saying:

Comfortable suspension and durable materials make the Patagonia Catalyst pack the perfect choice for day hikes and your daily commute. Autofit shoulder straps, sternum strap and hipbelt require minimal adjustments to stabilize the load. 3D spacer-mesh on contoured shoulder straps allows air to circulate, keeping you cool as the temperature rises. Split hipbelt wraps the hips in comfort and stabilizes the load over the lower back and hips. 210-denier ultralight nylon and 420-denier high-tenacity nylon fabric combines a woven baselayer with a floating top layer to absorb friction and reduce abrasion. Internal pocket holds hydration reservoir (sold separately) for hands-free drinking on the trail. Features an internal security pocket, outer vertical zip storage pocket and stretch-mesh water bottle pockets for stowing all your trail needs. Accessory lash points allow the attachement of additonal gear. Closeout.
