Bought before a month Patagonia Karakoram Inca Gold…

Rating: rated 0 of 5 stars
Price Paid: 120 euros

Bought before a month Patagonia Karakoram Inca Gold from local store in Sofia, Bulgaria-120 euros. The store was not Patagonia dedicated-just a sport and hiking store with items from different brands.

I'm not pleased at all from Patagonia Karakoram. After walking a 50 meters in a thin snow- about 5 sm [2 inches] my feet are wet. The shoes got wet inside without digin them in the snow-just walking at path in the thin snow, the snow hasn't contact with upper leather-only sole and side rubber.

I have no idea how the moisture come inside, but it's a fact, big disappointment!

Here's what other sites are saying:

The Patagonia Karakoram is built for the approach. The suede leather upper is polyurethane-coated for durability. Reinforced climbing rubber at the toe and heel offers additional protection and abrasion-resistance on rocky terrain. A secure lace-to-toe lacing system customizes the fit; the charcoal-infused mesh lining wicks moisture and controls odor. The waterproof Bi-Fit insole (80% recycled) and POLI-CORK (70% recycled) foam footbed provide cushioned support and stability underfoot. With a Vibram Idrogrip climbing rubber outsole for excellent grip on steep, sketchy sections.

Tough enough for the great ranges but sleek enough for the crags, the Patagonia Men's Karakoram Approach Shoe relishes in the approach hike. Thanks to its PU-coated leather upper and Vibram Approach sole, the Karakoram resists moisture while sticking to even the roughest trails. Extra rubber on the toe and heel add durability on rocky scrambles, and the top-to-toe lacing gives you a secure fit for easy technical pitches. Inside the shoe, the Trekdry mesh liner wicks moisture with the help of bamboo carbon, and the Poli-Cork footbed and Bi-Fit insole board (both from recycled materials) provide cushion and support on long hikes.
