Dense and soft, thick and warm. With a merino wool T-shirt and a windproof/resistant shell, you are good to go. Long torso and long sleeves add to the beauty of the piece (wish Patagonia would make more things long/tall for folks over 6' tall.) If only they made it in a hoody version...

Really nice.
