Petzl Fractio

This is a tough harness and it will last a long time.

Pros

  • Extra protection for leg loops from abrasion
  • Metal attachment points
  • Some lower back support

Cons

  • Not as comfortable as other harnesses
  • Small gear loops
  • Not as much back support as regular rock climbing harness

I have used this harness for about 2-3 years now for cave exploration. Before that it was owned by one of my friends. Other harnesses I've used get destroyed in about a year due to the harsh cave environment.

The harness sits fairly low, but offers more back support than the SuperAvanti. The other big difference is the metal attachment point for the D closure carabiner or maillion. This is a good feature for better wear.

I would not buy this harness for rock climbing, but for caving it is almost flawless.
