User Review: Polar Equipment Polar Pure

Polar Equipment Polar Pure
Above: The current Polar Pure, which may differ slightly from the version reviewed.

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Price Paid: Around $10 US

I use Polar Pure on canoe trips in Upstate N.Y. and find it great to have along. However there are many cons with this product, the first being the fact that it is iodine, therefore you cannot use it for over two weeks without compromising your health. Also be sure to store in a plastic bag as it will discolor anything it is in extended contact with to a nasty yellow/brown color.
