Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus Recharger

rated 4 of 5 stars I'm hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and do a lot of night hiking looking for a campsite or going for water. The Guide Ten make my life and hike easier and safer knowing I will always have fresh batteries for my headlamp. I don't have to carry a lot of extra batteries and the Guide Ten is easy to use. FlameStower Heat Charger

rated 1 of 5 stars Does not work! Tested it for 1.5 hours at various distances from the gas stove and including putting an ice into the water. Did not charge a single percent—neither my phone (HTC First) nor my satellite communicator InReach. Full review

InstaPark Mercury 10 Solar Panel Charger

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Quality charger, but somewhat heavy. Charger looks solid, charges very fast. Problem is that for me it is a little bit heavy for backpacking (about 0.5 kg) and too expensive. It can be attached to a backpack, but I think it will be not comfortable when you have a tent and sleeping pad already attached.  In the future I most probably will give a chance to another more lightweight options, which are many in the market. BioLite KettleCharge

rated 5 of 5 stars A kettle with a built-in thermoelectric generator that can charge USB-powered devices off-grid. Heat water, get a charge. A superb option for emergency use during power outages and something to consider for multi-day basecamp expeditions, but likely too much weight to justify its presence on most backpacking trips. Check out my video review: Full review

FlameStower Heat Charger

rated 1 of 5 stars The Flamestower’s technology is tried and true at this point in time. However, the product itself could use some design changes. With the Flamestower you will be able to charge most small electronic devices with the majority of backpacking and camp stoves on the market, as well as with a small camp fire. Due to the nature of the Flamestower’s design, it may become damaged but still operable (for how long?) during normal use. As much as I wanted to like this product, I do not think I could recommend… Full review

BioLite KettleCharge

rated 3.5 of 5 stars A kettle with a built-in thermoelectric generator that can charge USB-powered devices off-grid. Heat water, get a charge. A superb option for emergency use during power outages and something to consider for multi-day basecamp expeditions, but likely too much weight to justify its presence on most backpacking trips. BioLite KettleCharge The BioLite KettleCharge is a flat, stainless steel kettle with an opening for filling or pouring from the kettle, and a plastic handle that rises about the top of… Full review

InstaPark Mercury 10 Solar Panel Charger

rated 4 of 5 stars On a week-long, dark backpacking trip, I kept my phone/camera and GoPro fully charged. I can only imagine if I have SUN. Very affordable and would highly recommend. As weight conscience as I was, I never regretted bringing this on my trek. I looked and research other, more popular, chargers, but they offered less, lower watts, and cost more. This solar charger is a 10 watt, three-panel charger that includes two external batteries (USB and Micro connections) cables and even a special iPad/iPhone… Full review

HALO Pocket Power StarLight 3000

rated 1 of 5 stars I used it one time. It would not recharge. Full review

Goal Zero Sherpa 50 Recharger

rated 4 of 5 stars All around handy charger. A little bulky. And don't even entertain one if you're a pound shaver. This thing is wonderful. I've completely charged my laptop twice with it on one charge. Mine also came with a power inverter that screws on the side securely. Very well built and constructed to last. Full review
