pStyle allows active women to be able to go to the bathroom without having to sit, squat, or pull your drawers down! I use this for ALL my outdoor activities and for road trips. You can discreetly go to the bathroom without having to expose all or search for a place to do it. It's even great for porta-potties!

Pros

  • Portable
  • Easy to clean
  • Discreet

Cons

  • Takes a couple of tries to learn proper placement

This amazing product has been discovered mostly by word of mouth among active women seeking an easier, more discreet way to go to the bathroom while doing outdoor activities. Most of us had to hide somewhere, drop trou and squat, then have to deal with toilet paper after.

With this product, we can go just like the boys do — standing up!! To use it, just unzip or pull down the front of your drawers, slide it into place and go! There's a technique for removing it that eliminates the need for toilet paper.

Their website has specific instructions for how to use it. It is made of a special rigid plastic that is easy to maneuver and place, and sheds moisture quickly, so it cleans up easily.

They are working on a redesign that I've been a guinea pig for that will make it even easier to use! There are cases you can buy to carry it, and I slip it into a zip lock bag inside the carrying case and clip it to the outside of my backpack. I keep another one in my truck for road trips, kayaking, long desert runs, whatever I'm doing. It's especially nice in cold weather.

This really is a great product. There is a very slight learning curve as to placement, but the website suggests practicing at home. I got it on the first try, and the redesign will make this even easier (although it's not out yet).

This product is sold on their website, as well as some shops and other online venues.

Women be free! No more being scared to get out of your tent at midnight to pee.

Pros

  • Don’t have to sit on a toilet seat
  • Small and lightweight
  • No need for toilet paper
  • Easy to use

Cons

  • Price

Women, we need to talk honestly. There are a lot of female urinary devices out there, and I found a favorite, the Pstyle. With the carrying case which has a carabiner to attach to my pack, the cost is about $23.

I have been looking for a solution to crawling out of my tent at night, in the rain, to urinate. I tried just a plastic bag with disastrous results.

With this sleek design, you just have to kneel on one knee, put it in place, and use a plastic bottle or bag. Practice makes it perfect, so try it at home first. This has been a game changer for me. You can also use it while standing, but my main issue was in my tent.

I’m currently on my Appalachian Trail thru hike and I welcome this addition to my hike.
