I love this tent! I have used it hard for nine years now and not a single rip or broken piece. Still use the tent, now more as I have a wife and 2 dogs. Backpacking with it seems really heavy, yet in a rain storm all gear can be stored in back of vestibule and dogs up front. The front vestibule is big enough to cook in and store lots of goods. In sunny weather the top of the tent is screen mesh and with the two windows great stars views can be seen. Although my front screen was ripped through by my dog the tent still has ample ventilation.

My tent has survived snow camping (soaked through bottom, but top ok), a week of solid rain in Alaska, countless trips in the Sierra Nevada and now resides in the wet climate of Humboldt county, CA. Only a few burn holes inside and original seam seal 1994, and this tent is still well worth the hike in. Lots of room, best slept with two people but 3 does work; be sure to put yourself in the middle. Can't say enough about the fun I've had in it, the number of people I've loaned it to and had great trips, just take my word, a great tent comparable to all the new technology.
