"Ideal for those with smaller hands and shorter stature, these shock-absorbing poles reduce fatigue while improving stability. Made from 7075-T6 aluminum for durability with a light carry weight. Anti-shock springs soften the impact, reducing muscle and tendon strain; lock-out improves downhill performance. DuoLocks™--internal locking mechanisms--apply a wide area of pressure against pole walls to lock in length adjustment. DuoLocks showed 50% more holding power than other locking mechanisms during REI lab tests. Three-section telescoping poles extend to a maximum length of 49'' and compact to 24'' for easy storage and transport. EVA foam grips with an ergonomic, contoured shape are easy to hold; extended grip length allows pole to be held low during short side hill traverses. Adjustable padded neoprene wrist straps add support. Fitted with trekking disks and extra-durable tungsten carbide tips; rubber tip protectors included."
