Pair it with a waterproof shell for excursions into the backcountry and you'll be set. 300-weight polyester fleece insulates even if damp and is windproof to 7 mph; Durable Water Repellent finish sheds light rain and snow. Durable woven fabric at shoulders and elbows withstands abrasion. Pit zips with windflaps adjust airflow. Windflap backs full-length front zipper; drawcord hem and adjustable cuffs seal in warmth. Zip hand and chest pockets. Nonbinding, articulated arms are shaped to minimize hem lift when arms are raised."
