I've used this backpack repeatedly, most recently on a 3 day 26.8 mile hike of Eagle Rock Loop in AR.
It's more rugged than it looks, and yes 45 liters is quite small but that just means you have to select your gear wisely and leave unnecessary stuff behind. I usually carry 20 - 25 lbs in it, and can strap more on it's loops on the back if need be. It's my go to pack for up to 5 days, if longer I take my larger, and 4 lbs heavier, pack.
