Summary

Warm if moving (stopped for 15 min. near summit and started to get chilly feet), waterproof at 20 degrees (wouldn't use below that) in 2" of snow while hiking in the White Mountains with good weather.
Heel slippage, so I used moleskin before heading out, no problems, comfortable with Smartwool socks. Worked great with Microspikes.

I bought these on a great sale at EMS, I would not pay full price for these. I would not recommend these for deep winter hiking, beginning of season and light snow, around 30 degrees I would feel safe and comfortable.
