Materials: leather
Use: rough trail with pack, caving
Break-in Period: two weeks
Price Paid: $150
This boot will definitely keep you warm and dry, and it's one of the better boots to get if you have box toes, but you will definitely notice that the soles on this boot aren't Vibram soles. They're great in normal conditions, but I found that traction was quite bad on rocky debris and rock trails covered with light snow or mud.
