Saucony Peregrine 3

rated 5 of 5 stars
photo: Saucony Peregrine 3 trail running shoe

The Saucony Peregrine 3 is the best trail shoe I've worn in 15 years! They have plenty of room in the toe box yet stay snug in the heel area. Their tread is tough enough for rocky trails, yet forgiving enough that I can also handle some stretches of pavement during runs.

Pros

  • Great fit — roomy toe box

Cons

  • None

The traction is excellent — even in muddy areas. I wore these on a 10-mile trail run the first time out of the box and they felt great. There is plenty of arch support with comfortable cushion as well.

The shoe is not designed to keep feet dry. However, after a very wet run, the shoes did dry out quickly. I've had these for one month and they're wearing great!
