The Scarpa Gore-Tex (now called the Sierra GTX) have been with me for about six years, and worn daily. This is an excellent hiking boot with a stiff Vibram sole. (I think they are using a new sole from a different company now.)
I would have to say this boot has a life between six-seven years with heavy use, As long as you take care of the leather. The Gore-Tex has been great, but is the reason I'm not getting this boot resoled. (I want new Gore-Tex.) I will be buying this boot again.

These boots are the best boots I've ever had.
They are very useful in mostly everything.
Buy them if you'll ever get the chance.
Materials: Leather.
Use: Everything, heavy pack mostly.
