Scarpa Phantom Tech

Backcountry.com says:
Scarpa's Phantom Tech Mountaineering Boots may be built like a brick house, but they're about 20% lighter than traditional leather cold weather mountaineering boots, making them a solid choice for everything from standard mountaineering to hardcore ice climbing. Made with the same material as Scarpa's Himalayan boot, the Phantom Tech has a special OutDry membrane that's laminated to a combination of Schoeller K-Tech, S-Tech, and Super Fabric, making them about as burly and waterproof as any cold weather mountaineering boot on the market.A new addition to the 2019 Phantom Tech is Scarpa's flex seal gaiter with a spiraling zipper closure that helps eliminate stress points as the boot flexes forward, making the Phantom more comfortable when hiking and climbing. Beneath the burly waterproof gaiter lies a Primaloft insulated boot with carbon fiber insole and EVA cushioning for support on terrain steep and moderate. A microporous EVA midsole adds gentle cushioning to the boot without interfering with their overall feel, while a lightweight Vibram oustole provides a durable yet light foundation to the boot.

The Phantom Tech replaced the Scarpa Phantom Guide.
