These boots are AMAZING! I have owned them for about 7 years now doing everything from fast 60-mile weekend trips to 20 mile cold-weather Northeast mountain climbs and some nice 100+ weeklong trips. I will attest that once you break them in, these boots are as comfortable as slippers. If you take care of them, they will last in excess of 10 years. As far as fit - I have a wide fore-foot with a narrow heel. I needed a pair of Superfeet insoles and heel-lift, but haven't had a blister on my foot in 5 years! If there were a downside, these boots are quite heavy for those light-weight, fast-packing weekends.
