Finally a boot that fits my flat, unstable, low volume, size 15 foot. I use these with a superfeet green size G insole dropped right on top of the stock insole.
A very hefty beautifully made boot. Fit me right out of the box. In truth though they have very limited trail time. But my test was a Grand Canyon trip down the Boucher in icy conditions. Very stable underfoot, good sole traction as needed, held an instep crampon also. The proof though is not one blister to show for my wear and tear -- an absolute first for me as I've never owned a pair on boots that didn't give me at least one blister on its maiden voyage.
I'll check in again after some significant miles and should they hold up as well as noted in previous posts, I'll continue my raving.
