User Review: Scarpa SL
Rating: ![]()
Materials: leather
Use: trail/off-trail/moderate pack
Break-in Period: walked around town at lunchtime once
Weight: 3.3 lb
Price Paid: $120 on sale
Saw these on sale after winter at Marmot, last year's stock. Break-in: Wore around house, garage, walked the hills of Seattle once at lunch. Treated with sno-seal. Tossed stock inserts and replaced with SuperFeet.
All the other reviews say it all. Great classic boot styling, no problems yet with feet or boot. Can be tight on top of foot, I expect this area to break in more.
More than enough support for off-trail ramblings and supports mult-day packloads well. Crampons would probably not stay on this boot, it does flex somewhat.
