User Review: Scarpa SL (XX)

I guess it's something of a cliche by now, having read the other reviews of this boot, but it's absolutely fantastic. The break in period was surprisingly short and the fit was perfect (I bought the SLXX for my wide feet). Although against all the rules (and common sense!) I first used them on a 27 mile LDWA event in the Dales, and my feet suffered absolutely no ill effects whatsoever. And to top it all off, they look fantastic aswell. Although I don't think I'll be needing another pair for a hell of a long while yet, I'll be buying the same again. Unbeatable, especially with the Berghaus Yeti Attak over-the-boot-gaiter (once you get the little buggers on, that is). Go buy!
