Terramar Men's Helix Crew Tee

rated 3 of 5 stars A lightweight, inexpensive shirt, the Helix works well for many outdoor activities as it has a comfortable fit and breathes extremely well. On the other side, the durability is sub-par and the odor-fighting claims fall a bit short. The low cost negates these factors and makes for a great backup or low impact/low durable-activity shirt. I’d recommend this for activities such as bike riding, going to the gym, trail running, or everyday wear. Terramar states that this shirt is an “athlete’s dream”… Full review

Patagonia Men's Synchilla Snap-T

rated 5 of 5 stars This is the best jacket for the chilly fall days. Keeps me so warm that I get too hot and need to take it off. It is super cozy for the winter months inside. You'll live in it every day like I do. I even wear it during those chilly summer nights. The fit is true to size. Super cozy during the fall and winter. You cannot adjust the fit, but the fit is great as it is. In the snow, you would need a light rain jacket over it to make it rain proof. There isn't much breathability for use during exercise… Full review

Vargo Bedrock 1/4 Zip

rated 4 of 5 stars A midweight, quarter zip long-sleeve shirt, the Bedrock is a durable option for any cooler time of the year. It’s a tight fit for slimmer bodies, but is fleece lined and breathes well due to side stretch panels and ability to unzip collar. The fleece holds sweat, but the TiFusion (titanium infused) fabric wicks and fights odor really well. I’d recommend for any non-summer (at least non-humid) season for any activity where durability and constant use is a factor. There are a lot of similarities… Full review

Vargo Slag Short-Sleeve Shirt

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The Vargo Slag is a lightweight, short-sleeve tee which works well as an all-purpose shirt, though it does have a trim fit design. The biggest claim for this shirt is its TiFusion (fabric infused with Titanium) technology which allows the fabric to dry quickly and reduce that classic “trail stench.” I’ve found that the Slag meets my expectations of being quick drying and also smelling fresher longer than my other (both similar and different fabric types) shirts. If you’re active and prefer… Full review

Fjallraven Abisko Vent Shirt

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Lyocell shirt for hot weather w/ventilation opening on the back and mesh gussets under the arms. A nice lyocell shirt for hot weather, but if you sweat a lot (like me) then it becomes transparent (I have it in beige color). This causes the -0.5 star considering MSRP. Breathability is good as moisture wicking too, and it dries quickly. Ventilation is good as it has ventilation opening on the back yoke and mesh gussets under the arms. Construction is excellent, but I have no info about durability… Full review

Voormi Access Pullover

rated 0.5 of 5 stars The Access Pullover is a sharp-looking merino wool mid-layer that is perfect for being active on cooler days. Unfortunately, after testing two of these pullovers, this tester has found the quality to be substandard, developing holes in the seams after only a few washes. This con strongly negates any recommendation to spend $200 on this garment. Let me start by saying, I wanted to love this shirt. It arrived on a hot July day, and I immediately began wishing for cold weather to wear it in. So I stowed… Full review

Patagonia Men's R1 Pullover

rated 5 of 5 stars The most perfect piece of outdoor clothing I've ever owned. Summer or winter I take it on every trip. I can hike in it in temps in the high 60s. Breathes very well and the deep front zip vents excess heat very well. Found an old one of these at a thrift store for $3 and got it for my ex wife. She wore it constantly for years. So I finally went and got a new one for myself. It's great for cool summer nights after setting up camp and early morning starts. The inner face is a grid fleece that lets… Full review

Ripperkon-Wolf Bolero

rated 5 of 5 stars This is the new generation of tactical shirts. With the big biceps pockets very good for outdoor and tactical stuff. The biggest feature is that you only need one bolero and you can use it with any clothing. Watch my review and see this fantastic idea. Have fun. Watch my review here: Full review

TAD Praetorian Hoodie

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This hoodie is incredibly warm and well built. It comes at a hefty price tag, but I feel it is well worth the price. This is a really great piece of clothing. 100% merino wool is extremely warm. I received it for Xmas, and have worn it as much as I can without looking like I never change my clothes, although even after five days of wearing, I don't notice any stink, I just feel like I need to wash it.  I find that even during a high wind, it blocks it out. When you start moving and generating some… Full review
