User Review: Sierra Designs Draco (1999)
Rating: ![]()
Design: Convertible
Sleeps: 2+
Ease of Setup: Easier then most 4 Season tents
Weight: 7lbs 10 oz
Price Paid: $379
I think this tent is awesome and can withstand the worst of winds. I camped out on top of a mountain and in the middle of the night a huge snowstorm came in and the tent withstood every gust which almost knocked me over when I went for a midnight pee. It is great for warm or cold weather because it has a door that can be fully vented and it even has a roof vent that can do the same. Some bonuses--the window in the vestibule, taped seams and removable pole sections for three-season use (doesn't cut back on the weight much though).
