Sierra Designs Microlight 2 Jacket
A good, basic wind breaker (when did these begin being called wind shirts?). Breathable, packable and roomy enough for layering.
Pros
- Quality construction
- Low price
- Roomy
- Breathable
- Full zip
- Hooded
Cons
- None
This is one of the clothing items that make up a layered system that can handle a wide range of climates. From a winter camp in Wisconsin to windy days along the shores of Lake Michigan and bike commuting in Chicago this basic windbreaker works just fine.
The price was good, quality top-notch. All it lacks is the high-priced name tag of other outdoor clothing. I bought this and the wind pants that match and I am very pleased.
