Klymit Cush

rated 4.5 of 5 stars It packs down super small and adds virtually no weight to your pack but can be inflated in 2-3 breaths. Great for camping or taking naps on mountain tops! I have had it for 6 months now and have never had any issues.  The material it is made from is very durable and has never punctured even when I have used it on rocks and sticks.  Great for sleeping and sitting around on. REI Relax Air Bed

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Easy to use, durable, comfortable, just a tad expensive. I bought this for my wife and me while car camping. We have two Big Agnes Q-Core pads that we have been using for both backpacking and car camping, and they are a pain to set up (I use the BA Pumphouse to inflate them), roll up, keep clean, and make sure they are taken care of well, as they are a bit delicate. They are pretty comfortable, as reviews will attest to, but they make some compromises. So, for car camping trips, we decided it would… Full review

Therm-a-Rest NeoAir AirTap Pump Kit

rated 4 of 5 stars A simple and effective, high-volume inflation device. Overpriced for what it is, but cheaper than the alternatives. A relatively inexpensive, lightweight, and simple solution to the pad inflation problem. The kit comes with a 50 x 75 cm (20 x 30 in) plastic bag that can hold maybe 10 liters (just guessing). To put the device together you just poke a hole through the bag from the inside using the beveled end of the hard plastic piece, then slide the rubber tube over it from the outside so that the… Full review

Big Agnes Pumphouse

rated 3 of 5 stars The BA Pumphouse is too low-volume to be a good inflation device, and that property is the main feature that differentiates it from any other lightweight, waterproof, roll-top stuff sack. It does, however, have an unintended use -- it makes a good solar water heater. Although it is listed as just a stuff sack in the headline here on TS, it is really intended for use as a mattress inflater, with the suggested stuff sack and pillow as secondary uses. The bottom of sack has a little nozzle on it that… Full review

Helinox Camp Cot

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Lightweight (about 2kg) and most easy installation under 1.5 min with good design. Only the price is slightly high. I'd been looking for a light and easy cot and found two of all. They were the Helinox Cot 1 and Therm-a-Rest ultralight Cot. I gave my choice to the Helinox Cot 1 because it needs really fewer motions of setting up than the Ultralite cot and more reliabilities from their DAC pole. Full review

Therm-a-Rest Z-Seat

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Great little seat for when out hiking. Works perfectly. I purchased the Therm-a-Rest Z-Seat in Limon/Silver after seeing my friend had one on a winter hike. When everyone stopped to have lunch and we were all looking for a dry place to sit down he just took this out and sat on the nearest rock.   The material is designed to insulate you from the cold wet ground and it does that well. The silver side radiates your body heat back up which helps keep you warmer and the material keeps the snow and… Full review

Klymit Static V

rated 4 of 5 stars Fairly light, rolls up small, big on comfort. This is a great backpacking air mattress for those desiring a little comfort for not a lot of weight or space when roughing it in the woods or on the trail. The total package rolls up when not in use to the size of the average  soda can. Inflation is a breeze with 10 breaths or less until inflated...leaps ahead of other mattresses and inflators. Comfort is great and one can even sleep comfortably on your side! The value is there too as most can be found… Full review

REI Flash Insulated Air Pad

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Lightweight, quick inflate, and very comfortable. REI Flash sleeping pad (long) is one of the lightest and compact pads I've owned. I primarily hike on the Appalachian Trail in Georgia and North Carolina and this pad has made my nights very comfortable.  I would recommend this air pad.  Full review

Therm-a-Rest Z-Rest

rated 4 of 5 stars The Z-Rest is a Therm-a-Rest product, but it's not an air-filled type — rather it's closed cell foam. It's light, durable, and versatile. I've had this one for at least 20 years, maybe 25 and I'd buy another tomorrow (but I don't need to!). The model Z-rest I have is 520mm (2.5") wide and 1.8m (6') long. There are other sizes. It folds in a concertina-style and its egg-carton pattern (do you have egg cartons in the US?) enables each segment to nest. That same pattern means its effective thickness… Full review
