User Review: Slumberjack Bivy Shelter

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: Three season
Sleeps: 1
Ease of Setup: As easy as it gets, 2 stakes, poles thread through external sleeves
Weight: 2lb, 13oz
Price Paid: $60

This tent is very lite and suprisingly comfortable. The door zips down from the top of the front and all along the side. Thus it is easy to get into and easy to arrange your sleeping gear. You can't sit up in it closed, but you can if it is unzipped and not raining. I used it in the southwest desert and ventilation was great without the fly. Screen over part of top lets you see the stars. The front fiberglass pole broke the third day but it was easy to tape. Slumberjack replaced the fiberglass poles with aluminum at no charge and without a hassle. What a deal!

Tent seems about as durable as the Eureka tents that I have abused over the years. I'm 5.5 feet tall and found the tent comfortable.
