This is a great bag for 3-season camping and if you dress properly, you might be able to squeak by in the winter too. The construction is excellent and it does not feel suffocating inside. The hood and neck drawcord is really functional. The footbox is extremely roomy and warm.

I own the long version (I am 6'), which is slightly on the bigger side...good for people over 6'2". Its a lot of room to heat up and maintain throughout the night. But I like to turn and toss at night and so it worked out perfectly in the Olympic Peninsula where the lows in early April hovered between 30 and 40F. I doubt I will use the long version for winter due to too much room.

Not for backpacking...pretty heavy and stuffs big.

Overall a good bag for the money.
