Kamik Watertown Sport Sandals

rated 4 of 5 stars Lightweight, go anywhere sandals. Great fit. These are very good sandals for hiking without a pack, no extra weight. Do not offer enough support when hiking with a full pack. Fit is true to size, both length and width. Traction in all categories is very good. Full review

Chaco Men's Zong

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Think of these as a major upgrade over high-end flip-flops. The same straps as Chaco's Z-2 sandal, without the heel strap, these are easier to put on and take off. Comfortable to wear and walk in, secure enough to cross streams. Like any sandal with no heel, these aren't as secure and are more likely to slip off your feet. Simple design should make them extremely durable. I'll admit it up front, Chaco does an outstanding job with sandals in my opinion. Great soles, great midsole/footbed, simple… Full review

Mion Women's Ebb Tide Slide

rated 5 of 5 stars Best shoes I've ever worn. Comfortable and long lasting. LOVE the toes protected, lightweight yet still good for easy hiking. I want want want more! So many people stop and ask me where I got them! Full review

Teva Women's Original Universal

rated 3 of 5 stars Teva is an authentic icon in the outdoor industry. Founded in the early 1980s by a Colorado River guide, Teva pioneered the sport-sandal category. For more than 20 years on rivers, in canyons, and across the trails of the great outdoors, athletes and enthusiasts have traveled the globe comfortably and confidently in Teva footwear. Providing positive contributions to the world in which we play is at the core of everything Teva stands for. The Teva name itself is a Hebrew word meaning "nature" and… Full review

Teva Men's Karnali Wraptor

rated 1 of 5 stars Almost lost my life with these. They are very dangerous on hard surfaces due to the hard plastic arch plate on the sole. These sandals have a hard plastic arch on the sole. When you are climbing over rock (wet or dry) and rest on this hard plastic, it slips. I was unfortunate enough to have slipped while climbing along a cliff over a ferocious waterfall and cauldron below. There was a scraping sound and then I was hanging by one hand over the "slot machine" (see below). It was not a pleasant experience. … Full review

Chaco Men's Z/1 Unaweep

rated 4 of 5 stars Durable sole. Easy to use strap. Holds well. Heavy. Sandal tread on the topside wears smooth. The shoes fit pretty well, although the sole is a bit stiffer than I think it needs to be. Breaks in well. Pretty comfortable. Support is decent. Water resistance: I love the old school minimal strap sandal. It dries faster than all the others. It's easy to shake out gravel, sand, and rocks. When straps get wet, they tend to rub and cause blisters.  Traction: Holds pretty well on wet rock Temp control:… Full review

Teva Men's Hurricane XLT

rated 5 of 5 stars An excellent all around, multi-tasking and able to get the job done product. Great in a cinch, or a clinch. Plant this image in your head—it's day one (or maybe day #13) and after all your planning and spending and weighing and fretting and traveling you're on the trail, but the trail is starting to get the better of you and even though you did your weekend hikes and strapped on your pack as much as you could, your body is giving out and it's sending all of its frustrations right down into your… Full review

Chaco Men's Z/1 Unaweep

rated 4 of 5 stars A great option as a versatile sandal. With a sturdy Vibram sole, a great footbed and an easy to use one-strap adjustment system, these can be worn daily for many years. Conditions: I first owned a pair of Chaco Z/2 Unaweep, but later replaced them with a pair of Z/1 Unaweep, the difference being the former has a toe strap feature that I never cared for. I've owned my current pair of Z/1 Unaweep for two years and have used them in a variety of ways, from everyday summer sandals, to creek sandals,… Full review

Teva Women's Torin Sandals

rated 5 of 5 stars I have had these shoes for almost four years. They are extremely comfortable and durable and make for a great outdoor shoe. I have taken them everywhere from rafting in California to hiking in Idaho. This sandal has been a great sports sandal for me. I prefer the flat surface against the soles of my feet, rather than a more supported shaped surface. They have lasted a very long time and they have been great for the variety of outdoor activities I have done. The Velcro straps add an easy way for… Full review
