Springbar Campsite 3 Tent

I grew up using my grandmother's Kirkham's Outdoor Products canvas Springbar tent. When I was looking for a new car camping tent for my family I was surprised that they were still in business! But after seeing how long my grandmother's tent lasted I am not surprised. (hers is still being used by her great grand children!)

I decided on the Campsite 3 tent because it could still fit in the back of my car and offered 6' of head space! It now comes with a zip off awning and great windows for ventilation. It is also waterproof and great in the wind, even in Wyoming where we like to go fish.

It was more expensive than most tents, but it is nice to know that I bought a tent made in America. Just out of the box, you can tell the fabric and construction is WAY WAY better than other canvas tents. I think the other is called the Kodiak? I was told by the manufacture that the Kodiak is the cheap Chinese knockoff version of this Springbar brand.

Regardless, the service was great and if this tent lasts as long as my grandmother's I don't plan on buying another tent for a long long time.
