User Review: Stoic Microlith Softshell Pant

Rating: rated 3.5 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $51

Summary

These pants are really nice for hiking in cool weather. They are cheap, comfortable, and fit very well. The construction is nice, but there is only one pocket.

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Athletic fit/not baggy
  • Inexpensive

Cons

  • Belt is useless, comes loose every half hour
  • Not terribly weatherproof
  • Pulls on leg hair
  • Lack of pockets

These pants fit very well, and are not baggy at the ankles like some other pants. But, the odd inner lining does pull out some of my leg hair which is very odd.

The adjustability is not very good. The belt is hopeless, and comes loose all the time. Must constantly tighten.

The fabric beads water for a short time, but it is not very water resistant. I find my legs wet in the rain pretty quick.

The fabric is relatively breatable, and light for softshell.
