Maui Jim Kapalua

rated 5 of 5 stars I don't think sunglasses can be made any better than this. They are so lightweight, you forget that you're wearing them. Not only do they protect your eyes from all forms of UV, but they're a hardened acrylic that has protected my eyes from bushwhacking twigs, shell casings, and high speed flying pebbles. Fantastic! Choices choices... it seems that getting good performance is always a tradeoff; there's always some downside, right? That said, I really don't think sunglasses can be made any better… Full review

Bolle Slipstream

rated 4 of 5 stars I bought a few Bolle Slipstream sunglasses when I found a deal on e-bay a few years back. Wish I could find them again as they work well for just about any outdoor activity. They have side coverage for alpine pursuits in the snow and on ice and on work well for AT skiing...and that alone is worth the cash paid for them. They accept Croakies retainers and other brand retainers. They look good, work well, are lightweight and provide enough coverage for alpine snow sports and backcountry pursuits. Full review

Native Silencer

rated 4 of 5 stars Excellent sunglasses, not overly expensive. The lenses come out easily, and they don't slide down your nose with sweat or water. Great for kayaking and canoeing. I have nothing bad to say about them. Full review

Native Lynx

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Well-made sunglasses with interchangeable lenses. Good for outdoor use if you are physically active. More on the expensive side ~$150. For those with extra change, I'd recommend. Received these as a gift recently for my anniversary, the smoke colored glasses.  They are great.   The following came with the pack: hardshell case (with compartment for extra lens), softshell case, extra lenses (lighter colored), sticker and a lifetime warranty. This is a great aspect and is one the bigger reasons these… Full review

Maui Jim World Cup

rated 4 of 5 stars Great sunglasses that fit comfortably. A little pricey, but worth it if you need a good pair. The only downfall is that they do not have anti-fog lenses. I tested the Maui Jim World Cup Sunglasses in Matte Black Rubber / Neutral Grey. These sunglasses are excellent.  The polarized lenses did an excellent job of blocking horizontally planed light.  These sunglasses are extremely comfortable and very aesthetically pleasing. They simply look and feel great. They stay on your face when you are moving. Full review

Smith Lockwood

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Great glasses! Nice lenses, lightweight, durable, good price. Great sunglasses for a great price. I chose the black frames and am happy with the aesthetics. I was a little thrown off by the boxy retro look but it's growing on me. Very lightweight frame makes them comfortable. A little ear soreness after a couple hours of use but not horrible. Polarized lenses are very clear. I've only had them a couple weeks but they look like they will be able to withstand the abuse of biking, hiking, etc. Full review

Suncloud King

rated 5 of 5 stars A high quality pair of sunglasses that doesn't break the bank. Polarized, with a couple of nice features, rubberized nosepiece, rubberized behind the ear. Suncloud is Smith's lower line of sunglasses, and they are a fantastic value! After retiring a BEAT UP pair of shades of 7 years, it was time to renew. I have been extremely impressed with these shades; scratch resistant, polarized and comfortable. I can't tell the difference in lens quality from my buddy's SUPER high dollar boating sport sunglasses. … Full review

Smith Parallel

rated 5 of 5 stars Superb optics and great fit. Super lightweight. Great for running and biking. The Parallel frame wraps my face snugly leaving no gaps for air to sneak in. I have a smaller face (apparently) as Smith "medium" glasses usually fit me well.  The frame measures 135mm from temple to temple hinge. My first outing with these was in full sun on snow. The brown polarized lenses are excellent. Cuts glare and enhances contrast. The Ignitor lenses are fantastic for overcast days or transitioning in and out… Full review

Julbo Whoops

rated 4 of 5 stars Julbo successfully makes mountain glasses that fits smaller faces. The Whoops model is a good choice for outdoor activities. These are really nice sunglasses with photochromic lenses. They fit smaller faces very well, and provide protection with a nice wrap design. With the wrap and fit to my cheeks, there really isn't any light coming through...good mountain and everyday glasses. Full review
