rated 4 of 5 stars I love this bag just as much as I love my North Face bag. Yes it's true, I did compare it to a legend. But I've been all through AZ's high country, its desert, and into the Wind River range of Wyoming, regions of Colorado, also New Mexico and Mexico, along the California coast into the Sierras. This bag has been with me for a long time and has kept me warm and has let me get cold too a couple of times at around the 5 to 10 degree marks. What I love about this bag is the durability and reliability. Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars I was looking for a lightweight cold weather bag 0 to +15. I purchased the SMMQ 0 by Sunshine Mountaineering at Popular Outdoor Outfitters for 99.99 with money back guarantee. I have used it many times on cold, cold nights on many high mountains of New Mexico. I have to say I am very pleased with its performance. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good bang for your buck. Full review

rated 2 of 5 stars For $50 more, you can get a decent sleeping bag from REI. This bag does keep you warm, unlike what another reviewer said -- I spent a night at 25 degrees with a blowing wind on top of Peter's Mesa, with no tent, just the sleeping bag spread out on my ground cloth (and me with my fleece on inside). But: the zipper gets stuck in the lining all the time. The hood is useless (wear a cap). The bag has hot spots and cold spots because apparently the filling isn't evenly distributed, and attempting to… Full review

rated 4 of 5 stars I was looking for a synthetic bag in the 15 degree range. After comparing the specs on several different bags, I figured I was looking at about 4lbs in weight for about $150... needless to say I was surprised and a little bit skeptical to find one that weighed only 2lbs 15ozs, and cost $99. The "return it for money back or an exchange" guarantee from Popular Outdoors convinced me to take a chance with it. I have had the bag out in temps somewhere around 13 degrees, and I was very comfortable...we'll… Full review

rated 1 of 5 stars Well the old saying you get what ya pay for held true on this purchase. I'm usually the type that spends more than less on gear however I've been reading and hearing all about the people who are getting by just fine and having just as much fun on lesser priced and quality gear so I figuerd to go out and purchase 2 of these bags from popular outdoors in a last minute camping trip with family, to sum it up we spent 3 nights in the arizona deserts and temps fell down to around 38 to 40 degrees and… Full review
