Use: rough trail/off trail with heavy packs; mountaineering
Break-in Period: minimal
Price Paid: $150 clearance

My go-to heavy-duty backpacking/light mountaineering boot. Great ankle support and nice tread.
Supremely comfortable right out of the box, and surprisingly lightweight.

Downsides? Not a good trail boot as it doesn't have too much rocker, and the colour is a little unfortunate. Neither enough to lower the rating however.
