Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Materials: Nylon-Gore Tex
Use: Trails with pack 40-55 lbs
Break-in Period: none
Weight: ??
Price Paid: $135

These boots were a tremendous upgrade in the features I needed from the very first pair of hiking boots I purchased, Vasque Sundowners. Although I liked the one-piece leather Vasque Sundowners, the Vibram sole was very hard on my feet and they were a little heavy. I wanted a lighter boot with a softer sole.

The Technicas filled the need. My feet hardly ached at all after a day of trekking in comparison to the hard-soled Vasques. They have lasted three years now, but am now starting to see some fraying around the ankle collar. Good Boot.
