User Review: Tecnica Mesa

Rating: ![]()
Materials: Sude and nylon
Use: Light hiking
Break-in Period: Little to none
Weight: Less than 3 lbs
Price Paid: $65 USD at discount
I bought this boots in a travel to Vermont. Found them in an outdoor store at a discount price, but most attractive to me was the comfort and light weight they had.
The break-in period was little to none. In fact, took me just “a couple of days” of walking to break them in a travel to Europe.
They fit like sneakers and are pretty comfortable. The only withdraw that I found is that they develop odor. I have three other pairs of boots (Vasque, Jack Wolfskin and Timberland) and they do not develop it, nor keep sweating on.
In general, they are good boots for those who want to start hiking, or light backpacking.
